Write your congressman and let him know you are his constituent. Let him know that you are writing because you need his/her help. You are one of over 250,000 handmade soap and cosmetic microbusinesses in the United States. An industry comprised of primarily home-based, woman owned businesses that are estimated to provide between 250,000 and 750,000 community based, main street jobs. These are real jobs that stimulate the U.S. economy.

Ask your member of Congress to please support microbusiness exemptions on all future cosmetic legislation so that your business, as well as others like yours, can continue to grow while contributing to the economy.
